Good practice in running HE in FE – Managing a programme

Description

University of Plymouth Colleges (UPC) is the partner college faculty of the University of Plymouth. A considerable challenge for partners lies is in developing an appreciation of the requirements and contextual understanding of providing HE programmes which come under the same regulatory and policy frameworks as other University provision. Within a large and dispersed college network UPC runs both induction sessions and training sessions in colleges for HE in FE staff in order to introduce them to the HE environment. Student Progression and Transfer (SPAT) Materials Introduction and Index

Description

SPAT Dissemination Partner Reports. Three indices to the materials are provided: by topic, by end user and by time of use. Within each topic area, the first leaflet is a guide for staff to the important issues. The other leaflets are for distribution to students. The latter will generally be most effective if customised to reflect terminology and practice at each institution.
