Teoría geométrica del objeto arquitectónico con herramientas informáticas. Esta asignatura se ocupa del estudio de las formas espaciales relacionadas con la arquitectura y de su representación, mediante el uso de los medios informáticos. Puede considerarse, en parte, como una profundización y ampliación de los conocimientos adquiridos por el alumno en Geometría Descriptiva; por otro lado, supone la aplicación, según los medios informáticos, de conceptos referentes a la expresión gráfica aprendidos en otras asignaturas de este mismo Área. Description

In this year's Geodynamics Seminar, we will explore the depth and breadth of scientific research related to Earth's present and past ice-sheets, glaciers and sea-ice, as well as extraterrestrial planetary ice. Invited speakers have been chosen from experts in the current frontiers in ice-related research, including planetary ice, climate records from polar and tropical ice cores, the Snowball Earth, subglacial volcanoes, ice rheology, ice sheet modeling, ice microkinetics, glacial erosion and tectonics, subglacial life and polar remote sensing. A field trip to Iceland in Summer 2006 will allow us to view some of the island's ice caps and glacial geology, the exposed mid Atlantic Ridge and evidence of ice-volcano interactions. In this course, students will learn about plasmas, the fourth state of matter. The plasma state dominates the visible universe, and is of increasing economic importance. Plasmas behave in lots of interesting and sometimes unexpected ways. The course is intended only as a first plasma physics course, but includes critical concepts needed for a foundation for further study. A solid undergraduate background in classical physics, electromagnetic theory including Maxwell's equations, and mathematical familiarity with partial differential equations and complex analysis are prerequisites. Description

El proceso laboral se rige por el principio de oralidad. Ello determina la dificultad de transmitir a los alumnos la dinmica y contenido de las actuaciones y reacciones procesales que se desarrollan con unidad de acto en el juicio oral y, de ah, la conveniencia de que visualicen esta fase del proceso. Ahora bien, la asistencia a juicios en la sede del rgano judicial es complicada, debido a la capacidad limitada de las Salas de vistas, y a la necesidad de desplazarse fuera del aula, trastocando el horario de clases del resto de asignaturas. De otro lado, incluso habiendo planificado el da de visita al Juzgado, previa consulta de la agenda con el Secretario Judicial, en muchas ocasiones se producen conciliaciones, o el demandado no comparece, etc., por lo que, en estos casos, los alu El proceso laboral se rige por el principio de oralidad. This course focuses on computational and experimental analysis of biological systems across a hierarchy of scales, including genetic, molecular, cellular, and cell population levels. The two central themes of the course are modeling of complex dynamic systems and protein design and engineering. Topics include gene sequence analysis, molecular modeling, metabolic and gene regulation networks, signal transduction pathways and cell populations in tissues. La asignatura Plantas de Interés Agroalimentario es una asignatura de libre elección de 2º ciclo de la titulación de Ingenieros Agrónomos de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. La creacin de material didctico para la docencia es un requisito primordial para la enseanza. Los distintos enfoques que se lleven a cabo estarn motivados por las necesidades que se susciten en cada momento y el modo en que establezca la relacin docente-alumno, adaptando los planteamientos pedaggicos de una forma dinmica a las necesidades y a las caractersticas propias de ese alumnado. En la actualidad, teniendo en cuenta los nuevos modos de comunicacin y la evolucin de la manera en la que establecemos las relaciones sociales, se hace necesario desarrollar plataformas de difusin y comunicacin alternativas a las tradicionales y que permitan ampliar la enseanza a nuevos niveles.
