El objetivo de este curso es que el estudiante conozca los principios del diseo y desarrollo de aplicaciones para terminales mviles. Los terminales mviles se caracterizan por sus limitaciones en comparacin con los ordenadores convencionales, tanto en trminos de capacidad de proceso como de memoria, interfaz de usuario y energa, as como por el uso de interfaces de comunicacin inalmbricos, tanto de rea personal como local o de rea extensa. El objetivo de este curso es que el estudiante conozca los principios del diseo y desarrollo de aplicaciones para terminales mviles. REaCTOR: Technology Comparison

Description

This is the Technology Comparison 3D interactive resource produced by Fused Works / Doncaster College. The overall aim of this project was to create a set of 3D teaching and learning resources for use by Built Environment lecturers and students in both Higher and Further Education. The resources will also reveal the mechanics of how they work and demonstrate their impact on the environment, whilst in a safe, virtual setting. The Technology Comparison resource differs slightly from the other resources in this series by comparing each technology in both a domestic and industrial property. The navigation panel has an extra tab so that the user is able to flick between both the industrial and domestic settings in order to see and compare the differences and changes

Description

Also shown within the resource is how different household appliances, including microwaves, washing machines and hair dryers, can have an effect on the electricity generated by the Solar PV panels. REaCTOR: Solar Thermal

Description

The Solar Thermal resource also gives the user the ability to interact with a number of options such as measuring the amount of water heated for baths, showers or hot taps; before the homeowner would need to use the combi-boiler. The resource also shows the user individual 3D models of all the component parts of the solar thermal fitting.

Description

The Greywater resource focuses on the reuse of waste water from places such as; wash basins, baths and washing machines for the purposes of gardening and, like Rainwater Harvesting, can also be used to flush toilets. Unlike Rainwater Harvesting however, Greywater is often more limiting as its collection comes directly from used water within the home.

Description

Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is brain damage caused by events after birth. There are many possible causes, including a fall, a road accident, tumour and stroke. The common effects to patients with ABI range from only minor problems with memory to long term physical and learning disabilities [1]. In the UK alone, there are 348,934 admissions to hospital with ABI [2]. The rehabilitation process for ABI patients is both long and expensive either for the patients or the public health service provider [3]. This project aims to provide an automated process for making the research in this area a lot simpler by collecting both passive and subjective data from the patient through the use of a mobile application and a smartwatch.
