El objetivo de este curso es presentar el estado del arte sobre la Gestión de los Ríos en virtud de los requisitos necesarios para la aplicación de la Directiva del Marco del Agua. Se hace especial hincapié en la restauración fluvial con el fin de hacer que los estudiantes pueden analizar y discutir las estrategias para el barbecho y las técnicas a utilizar para recuperar el buen estado ecológico. El objetivo de este curso es presentar el estado del arte sobre la Gestión de los Ríos en virtud de los requisitos necesarios para la aplicación de la Directiva del Marco del Agua. La asignatura tiene una parte dedicada a conocer la composicin y el funcionamiento de los ecosistemas fluviales en la Pennsla Ibrica, y posteriormente se dedica el resto a tratar los principios de la restauracin fluvial con criterios tcnicos y ecolgicos, tcnicas y mtodos de restauracin fluvial, incluyendo la restauracin del ecosistema mediante el rgimen ecolgico o rgimen ambiental de caudales. El objetivo principal es aprender como se puede realizar un estudio, el diagnstico necesario, y la seleccin de tcnicas para elaborar proyectos de restauracin fluvial, como tarea multidisciplinar. Se lleva a cabo mediante clases tericas, clases prcticas de informtica con programas especficos, y un viaje de campo, en el que se obtienen los datos para realizar
