Esta materia es de gran importancia, ya que la valoración del paciente neurológico pediátrico es básica e imprescindible para planificar, desarrollar y demostrar los efectos del tratamiento fisioterápico. Esta valoración puede ser cualitativa o cuantitativa, lo que va a depender de la información recogida. Va a servir para identificar las conductas motrices asociadas a la lesión cerebral, en el caso de las alteraciones motoras centrales, así como también las alteraciones que correspondan a la patología nerviosa periférica en el niño. Siendo coherentes con el planteamiento multidisciplinar que implica la formación del maestro de Educación Infantil, el conocimiento que aporta la Asignatura Educación Física Infantil es fundamental para esclarecer, clarificar y reafirmar la importancia que tiene la motricidad como área de significatividad relevante para esta etapa. Por ello, es elemental profundizar en el conocimiento de los contenidos básicos que conforman la motricidad, así como el papel que tiene en el desarrollo integral de los escolares en estas edades. The major functional components of the CNS will then be reviewed individually. Topography, functional distribution of nerve cell bodies, ascending and descending tracts in the spinal cord. Brainstem organization and functional components, including cranial nerve nuclei, ascending / descending pathways, amine-containing cells, structure and information flow in the cerebellar and vestibular systems. Distribution of the cranial nerves, resolution of their skeletal and branchial arch components. Functional divisions of the Diencephalon and Telencephalon.
