Está ampliamente demostrado que la actividad física habitual y adaptada a las posibilidades del individuo mejora la salud bio-psico-social, mientras que el sedentarismo es un factor de riesgo de enfermedades cardiovasculares, metabólicas, etc. La introducción y objetivos del área de Educación Física (Decreto 286/2007) presentan una clara orientación hacia la salud, con referencia explícita a la mejora de la salud, bienestar y calidad de vida. En este sentido, el área se orienta a crear hábitos de práctica saludable, regular y continuada a lo largo de la vida, así como a sentirse bien con el propio cuerpo, lo que constituye una valiosa ayuda en la mejora de la autoestima. Includes audio/video content: AV special element video. The purpose of this class is to tell you something about our Tech Dinghy and how to sail it. This OCW site is arranged as a series of skills, explained both with lecture notes and videos. Please do not think of these skill checks as tests, but instead, as measures of your understanding of our sport. We don't expect perfection from our beginners, but only that our members be able to safely handle the boats and themselves on the Charles. For those who wish it, there will be much more that can be learned about other boats and other waters, but what can be learned here will provide the basis to build on.
